NFL Free Agency Frenzy: Curtis Samuel Rejoins Rivera in Washington
The Washington Football Team has focused on upgrading their offseason via free agent acquisitions at the start of the new league year. First, they signed quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick to a one-year contract ($10 million) and then signed versatile playmaker Curtis Samuel to a three-year contract worth up to $34.5 million. Samuel played for Washington's coach Ron Rivera during his time in Carolina and was college teammates with Washington’s top receiver Terry McLaurin.
Sports Illustrated’s Michael Fabiano discusses those signings plus the impact of AJ Green going to Arizona, Gerald Everett signing with Seattle, and Marlon Mack sticking around in Indianapolis.
