The Texans have reportedly hired a new head coach. According to Ian Rapoport and confirmed by the Houston Chronicle. The Texans have offered the job to Ravens assistant head coach David Culley and he is expected to accept it.
After beginning their season with an 0-4 start the Texans fired Bill O’Brien in October who was serving as the team's General Manager and head coach. The Texans finished the season 4-12 but are hoping Culley’s 27 years of experience can turn things around in Houston. Culley has served as assistant head coach and wide receivers coach for the Baltimore Ravens since 2019 but also spent time with the Bills, Chiefs, Eagles and Steelers since beginning his career in 1994 with the NFL.
