Former Seattle Seahawks offensive tackle Chad Wheeler has been formally charged following his arrest on suspicion of felony domestic violence. The Seahawks, who said Wheeler is no longer with the team, released a statement Wednesday condemning the alleged act in question and offered support to the victim, while also stating they hope Wheeler gets the help he needs. While Wheeler himself tweeted an apology saying the events transpired due to a manic episode and that he will be stepping away from football.
